One of Parker's favorite things ever is his stuffed monkey that we got him a few months ago. Every time he goes to bed or takes a nap, he HAS to have Monkey. As soon as he gets in the crib he gives Monkey a hug. It is so cute. We celebrated his FIRST birthday last week and he had a "monkey" themed party. I found the cutest monkey cake on MarthaStewart.com. I had to practice it a few times before his birthday though, I wanted it to look just like Martha's. lol. I was so proud of how it turned out b/c if you know me, I can ruin just about any recipe. We had some family over for pizza & banana splits. Parker had fun opening all his cool presents! He didn't really understand what was going on but he still had fun. We sure love our Parker, he's our little monkey!

Awesome cake! I have to agree with the other comments on your talent! In fact, your was much better than Martha's! Congrats on making it to one year! It just gets better...they start to talk and fend for themselves so fast... Your doing a great job capturing it all!
