We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! My Mom and I started the morning off running the annual"Catch The Gobbler 5k Run" (Bree was all signed up but got sick the night before...darn you Jack-N-The-Box). It was cold and rainy but we had fun! I'm so proud of my Mom. She did so well for her first 5k EVER and for being 48 years old. Work it girl! I however, didn't reach my goal. I wanted to run it in 25 min tops but failed to do so. Looks like I have some work to do. We sure had fun though.
MOM: 34 min.
ME: 27 min.
The rest of the day was filled with lots of food and relaxation. My Mom is the BEST cook!
We usually put the Tree up on Thanksgiving but I did it early this year. I went to St. George a couple weeks ago and bought a Christmas Tree at Tai Pan. I LOVE THAT PLACE. I was so excited I decided to put it up last week (with Warren's help)!!
As we discussed what we were thankful for over dinner we were reminded how blessed we really are. I LOVE Thanksgiving!
(Mom- I already heard your comment about the necklace...haha..no need to post it)

Way to go on the 5K! 2 little minutes off from your goal? That's nothing! We got our tree at Ti Pan too, LOVE IT! How fun to have thanksgiving with your mom. There's nothing like a mom's cooking!

hey, why is everyone talking about this tree? i just keep looking at Parkey!! I had a fun Thanksgiving i wish i could have ran! But i got a cool ugly sweater instead! I am making Jaycee wear it to ALL her classes tomorrow!! hhehe! Okay i will prolly see u saturday!love u angel!
